A: COUNTRIES NO NEED VISA

Several countries offer visafree entry for Iranian citizens. As of late 2024, Iranian citizens can enter countries like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, China, Egypt, Georgia, Lebanon, Malaysia, and Omanwithout a visa for tourism. Additionally, citizens of Tunisia, Tanzania, Mauritania, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Seychelles, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Cuba, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina can also enter Iran without a visa, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

So these countries passport holders just need to have valid passport ( with at least six month validity from the entrance date to Iran borders ) , Valid Travel insurance .

B: OTHER COUNTRIES NEED VISA

You can apply for a visa to visit Iran either directly through the Iranian Foreign ministry Office of Visa and immigration service portal (E-visa) or through a travel company such as us.

The Visa on Arrival (OAV) at this moment is suspended by the government till further notice.

The process of getting your visa is  pretty straight forward. You basically fill out the following form. After we get your invitation letter you go to an Iranian embassy (you can specify which Iranian embassy or consulate or one of Iranian international airports ( if your nationality is eligble to coollect at the airport ) you prefer to go collect your visa ) and there you collect your visa.

You be required to fill out a separate Iran Visa Application form at Iranian embassy and pay some collection fees which is different than the fee you be paying for your letter of invitation that we furnish to you.

You should have the following documents available while you complete your online Iran Visa Application:

1-Passport

2-Travel itinerary, if you have already made travel arrangements.

3-Résumé or Curriculum Vitae – You may be required to provide information about your current and previous education and work history.

4-Digital personal photo in accordance with the requirements announced
Digital image of your passport in accordance with the requirements announced which is 800×600 pixcels  passport size picture. Women no need to have a picture with a headscarf.

5-Other Information – Some applicants, depending on the intended visa types, will be asked to provide additional information when completing online visa application.

Frequently asked questions about visa and travel to Iran

2 fees: 1- Letter of invitation related fees which is 25 Euros + 5 Euros( visa guarantee) to be paid to the travel agency you be applying through for your visa. We are the travel agency that be getting your letter of invitation and be collecting the 50 euro related visa processing fee.2- Visa collection fee which you be paying at the Iranian embassy or consulate where you be picking your visa. That fee is variable from few Euros to over 100 Euro depending on your nationality.

The required amount of time is highly dependent on how busy the visa processing work load at Ministry of Foreign Affairs is. As a general rule it may take 2 days up to 2 week sot get your visa in most cases. In rare cases it may take longer. British, Canadian and USA passport holder’s procedure may take one or two month.

You need: 1- A passport with at least 6 months to its expiration date. 2- a passport size picture.800 X600 pexels and a personal picture 400 X600 pexels. Women no need to have their hairs covered in their pictures. 3- Your travel itinerary. 4- Preferably a hotel reservation for at least first few days in Iran (no mandatary ). 5-Letter of invitation issued by the Travel agency.

As of early 2025, Iran offers a Visa on Arrival (VOA) program for citizens of many countries. Here’s a comprehensive overview of the terms, eligible nationalities, and conditions:✅ Eligible NationalitiesCitizens from numerous countries can obtain a 30-day tourist visa upon arrival at designated Iranian airports. This visa is primarily for tourism purposes and is not suitable for business, journalism, or diplomatic activities. Notably, citizens of the following countries are not eligible for a VOA and must obtain a visa in advance:Afghanistan , Bangladesh,Canada,Colombia,Iraq,Jordan,Pakistan,Somalia,United Kingdom,United States.For these nationalities, visas must be arranged prior to arrival, often through authorized travel agencies or Iranian embassies.📍 Entry PointsVOAs are issued exclusively at specific international airports in Iran. Land and sea border crossings do not offer this facility. You may reapply if your documentation were not in order. However if you were denied visa due to other reasons you will be notified and given the chance to rectify those issues. Applicant can apply again 24 hours after rejection.

Most up to 30 days. Some times you get up to 90days visa. It is also customary that MFA would issue a visa for as long as your initial travel itinerary is base don.

You may be able to extend your travel visa while in Iran up to a total of 90 days. A renewal of a visa may require your departure and return.

Of course and on top of that you need to be part of a pre organized tour, as an American, British or Canadian nationals, to be able to get your visa to Iran.
