Persepolis Apadana Hotel / Shiraz

The location is spectacular. The hotel is situated right on the boundary of the Persepolis site and you can see the columns from your room if you get the right side of the hotel.
The gardens have seen better days and the whole hotel has a bit of a run down air which is a pity.
Staff were helpful but perhaps a little jaded from the succession of nationalities passing through. Efficient but not warm service
Very limited reataurant menu but what we had was excellent.
There’s an ancient retainer who sticks to you like a limpet till he gets a tip but we didn’t begrudge as he carried the bags etc.
