Tour description: when rose bushes blossom in Kashan area, Golab-Giri (Rose water distillation festival) starts. Yearly, this traditional ceremony attracts a lot of national and international tourists to this area. The process of this festival is not easy but lovely and interesting to see, so join us in this short tour.
Note :
You can be transferred to this destination from any city of Iran at the accurate date to start this tour from Kashan City or Abyaneh Village.
Rosewater workshop are in other cities of Iran like Liyzangan/Darab/Fars and Meymand/Fars .
You will be transferred to nearby cities like Qamsar or Niyasar full of best smelling Mohammadi roses in the country.
Harvesting roses is an intensive work starting from dawn through morning. You can join the local people and see how they are put in massive copper pots and traditional ovens. Till the end, you will find how the waste of distillation is used and what the result will be.
