The required amount of time is highly dependent on how busy the visa processing work load at Ministry of Foreign Affairs is. You need: 1- A passport with at least 6 months to its expiration date. 2- a passport size picture.800 X600 pexels and a personal picture 400 X600 pexels. You may be able to extend your travel visa while in Iran up to a total of 90 days. A renewal of a visa may require your departure and return.
