This 7-day highlights journey is designed for travelers who want a focused introduction to Iran’s most important cultural and historical landmarks without adding long desert detours. With Yazd removed from the route, the program allows a deeper stay in Shiraz and a smooth northbound overland connection toward Isfahan and Kashan.
The tour begins in Tehran with royal Qajar architecture and archaeological treasures before a late-night domestic flight to Shiraz maximizes sightseeing time. Two full days in Shiraz include the poetic atmosphere of the city and a comprehensive excursion to Persepolis, Naqsh-e Rostam, and Pasargadae. The journey continues by road through historic landscapes to Isfahan, followed by a final cultural drive through Abyaneh and Kashan before departure from Tehran.
