Journey to Hyrcanian forests (Lost Paradise)

Destinations: Tehran – Masouleh – Bandar Anzali – Astara – Sareyn – Talesh – Masal – Tehran

Tour description: Gilan province is famous for delicious foods, but its nature is as tasty as its foods. You can taste beautiful untouched nature besides delicious variety of foods. At the end of the trip, you will visit some cities of Ardebil Province as well. This tour includes hiking and trekking, it will be a relaxing one in the heart of beautiful authentic nature.

Note : It is supposed that most of outbound flights land in early morning in Iran. The final itinerary will be booked based on your starting and ending travel dates.

Do not forget to take suitable clothes and shoes for trekking and hiking.

The tour can be shortened or extended.

Travel itinerary:

 Day 1: Arrival in Tehran

You will be welcomed by ITC agent as soon as you leave the customs gate and will be transferred to the booked accommodation place.

The city tour starts after a late wake up and breakfast around 11:00 or 12:00.

Today it is possible to visit inside Tehran city; also, there is a chance to have one daily tour to a nearby place or city or preserved area.

Overnight Tehran

Day 2: Drive to Масулех Village (378 km) 

You leave Tehran toward very nice and unique village of Масулех which you will love to visit, talk to its people, buy rural handicraft and even test to stay overnight in rural houses. You can drive to Rasht to stay overnight at bigger and better hotels of course.

Day 3: Rudkhan Castle excursion               

If the weather is not rainy, then you will have an amazing excursion and hiking to Rudkhan castle with hundreds of stairs. You just drive toward Bandar-E Anzali and sleep early.

Day 4: Bandar-e Anzali excursion   

Today you will pass Anzali lagoon by boat, visit Anzali Bridge, Clock Tower and city palace inside the city. Drive toward Astara (145km).

Day 5: Drive to Sareyn (297km)

You have breakfast and leave this calm and relaxing city toward Sareyn for a new experience of spa and hot water. If you are interested in historical and cultural visits, there will be a short stop in Ardebil to visit UNESCO world heritage of Sheikh Safi al-Din Mausoleum.

Overnight: Sareyn  

Day 6: Drive to Talesh (230km)

Today and one more day will be allocated to two regions which are like paradise. You will visit Talesh and Masal area which are close to each other. You can choose to where to stay more and what to see more by your own interest.

Overnight Talesh or Fouman or Masal

Day 7: excursion 

Hiking and trekking in fresh air and beautiful nature is what you will do in this day like the day before.

Overnight Talesh or Fouman or Masal

 drive back to Tehran (around 400km)

Drive back to capital or IKA International airport.
